Dashboards that answer the next question

A dashboard gallery, a shared frame with period comparison and drill-through, a personal dashboard and an analytics workspace.

A number on a dashboard usually raises a question: compared with what, and which alerts are behind it? With this release, every FlowSentry dashboard answers both. Figures sit next to the previous period, and nearly everything you can see you can click through to the records behind it.

What's new

Dashboards (/dashboards) is now a gallery showing only the dashboards your role can open:

Dashboard Route What it shows
Executive overview /dashboards/executive Alerts, high and critical alerts, cases opened, SLA compliance, high-risk customers, screening backlog, pinned metrics
Transaction monitoring /dashboards/monitoring Volumes and value by day, channel and event type; alerts per rule; alerts per 1,000 transactions; rule effectiveness
Operations & SLA /dashboards/operations Queue depth and ageing, SLA breaches and items due in 24 hours, throughput, time to disposition, analyst productivity
Screening /dashboards/screening Hits per day by category, backlog and ageing, true-match rate, time to clear, hits by list
Customer risk /dashboards/customers Risk bands, KYC status, PEPs, reviews due, IDs expiring in 30, 60 or 90 days
Reporting KPIs (STR-privileged roles) /dashboards/reporting STR, SAR and CTR filing status, timeliness, deadlines and FIU rejections
AI usage /dashboards/ai Calls, spend, tokens and latency by feature and model
Securities /dashboards/securities Securities market surveillance: trades, orders, cancel rate, securities alerts
My dashboard /dashboards/my Your own widgets, in your order

One frame for every dashboard

Every dashboard shares the same controls:

  • Period: 7D, 30D, 90D, QTD, YTD or Custom (up to two years). The period is part of the address, so a copied link opens the same view for a colleague.
  • Compare to previous period is on by default. Each figure shows its change against an equally long previous period, coloured by whether the change is good or bad, and trend charts draw the previous period as a dashed line.
  • Drill-through: click a figure, a bar, a legend entry or a table row. A severity opens the alert queue filtered by that severity; a rule opens the rule; a typology opens the rules behind it; a risk band opens the filtered customer register.
  • Export CSV downloads every figure and widget on the page. The download icon on a widget exports just that widget.
  • Auto-refresh every five minutes, or refresh when you like. "Updated hh:mm" tells you how fresh the figures are.

My dashboard

Select Customise on My dashboard, then Add a widget from the catalogue, move widgets up or down, remove what you do not need and Save dashboard. Reset to default takes you back to the starting layout.

The analytics workspace

Under Insight, the analytics section adds three tools:

  • Analytics workspace (/analytics) compares the period with the previous one per typology, ranks typologies and severities, and shows a Typology radar: typologies whose alerts rose sharply in the last month, each with a suggested draft rule.
  • Pivot analytics (/analytics/pivot) lets you choose rows, columns and a measure, click a cell for the daily rows behind it, save and load views, and Export XLSX.
  • Metric designer (/analytics/metrics) defines metrics such as alerts per 1,000 transactions, false-positive rate or SLA compliance, with amber and red thresholds. A red breach can raise a webhook alert, and you can pin metrics to the executive overview.

Why it matters

Supervisors can move from "SLA compliance fell" to the overdue alerts in one click. Executives see trends against the last quarter rather than isolated numbers. Analysts can build a dashboard around their own queue. And because every export is recorded, management information can be shared without losing track of where it went.

What stays governed

  • You see only what your role allows. Figures that would reveal STR activity, such as STRs filed or rule precision, appear only to STR-privileged roles. Executives see aggregate figures, never individual cases.
  • Every export is recorded under your name. Pivot exports and metric changes are audit-logged too.
  • The radar never activates anything. A suggested draft rule still goes through the rule builder and maker-checker approval.
  • Dashboards never touch live transaction tables. They read analytics read models refreshed in the background about every 15 minutes. After a first deployment, allow about 15 minutes for figures to fill.

How to try it

  1. Open Insight in the rail and choose Dashboards.
  2. Open Executive overview and switch the period to 90D.
  3. Click a bar in the severity mix and see where it takes you.
  4. Open My dashboard, select Customise and add a widget.
