The keyboard shortcuts that speed up everyday work in FlowSentry, plus its built-in accessibility features.

Everything in FlowSentry can be done from the keyboard. A handful of shortcuts cover most navigation, and standard keys work in every list, menu and dialog. On a Mac, use ⌘ (Command) wherever this page says Ctrl.
Global shortcuts
These work on every page once you are signed in.

Tip: The / shortcut is ignored while the cursor is in a text field, so you can type a slash in a note or search box without opening the palette.
In the command palette

| Enter | Opens the highlighted result; with free text and no result chosen, it opens full search |

Moving around a page

Accessibility
FlowSentry is built to be usable with a keyboard and assistive technology.
- Skip link. Press Tab once on any page to reveal Skip to main content, then Enter to jump past the navigation.
- Visible focus. A clear focus ring shows which element is active as you move with the keyboard.
- Reduced motion. If your operating system is set to reduce motion, FlowSentry respects it and keeps animation to a minimum.
- Themes. Choose Light, Dark or System under Theme in the user menu to suit your eyes and surroundings.
- Messages. A problem that blocks an action stays next to the form or button that caused it, rather than disappearing.
Note: If a shortcut does nothing, check that focus is not inside a browser extension, an embedded file viewer or the browser's address bar.
